Directly after my studies I had the chance to combine my childhood passion for civil air traffic with legal practice working as a legal adviser for a German charter airline. Since then legal air traffic safety regulations, insurance issues arising from aircraft damages, the Montreal Convention and the air passenger rights regulation form an integral part of my daily work routine.
Since two years I am accredited by the German Federal Aviation Office as an independent EU Validator within an EU program for the guarantee of a secure supply chain. As an EU Validator it is my task to systematically examine any company that forms part of the secure supply chain, as for example the hauliers, the air carriers or the producers of goods, and that seeks to transport air freight from third countries to the EU in order to verify whether the company meets the EU safety regulations for the guarantee of a secure supply chain.
It is an exciting challenge for me, which I greatly enjoy, to connect the technical and economic contexts with the legal practice to find the best possible solution for my clients on the national and on the international level.
